축구에 진심인 나라 영국에서 쓰는 축구 영어 표현! 

축구팬이라면 영국에 가서 토트넘 손흥민 경기를 직관하는 꿈을 가지고 있을텐데..

경기 관람 후 경기에 대해 현지인과 자연스럽게 얘기할 수 있는 표현을 가지고 왔다. 

 

심판 referee / Sb who control the game 

골키퍼 goalkeepers, goaliees, keepers 

수비수 defenders 

미드필더 midfielders 

공격수 strikers, forwards 

 

골키퍼가 골을 많이 먹었을 때 

'He let in so many goals!' 

 

 

공격수가 수비수를 쉽게 제칠 때 

'He always gets past the defenders so easily'

 

 

 

우리가 주로 얘기하는 볼 점유율 'Possession' 

= How much time the team have the football (볼을 얼마나 가지고 있었는지= 점유율)

 

 

 

 

영국 국가대표팀과 슬로베이나 경기 중 영국의 볼 점유율이 72%로 아주 높을 때 

England had 72 possession, compared to Slovenia's 28%. They had most of possession.  

 

 

 

유효 슈팅은 많았는데 골로 연결되지 않았을 때, 

The team were really great at creating chances today. They had so many shots on goal but they never managed to score. 

 

 

 

 

영국팀의 문제는 점유율만 높았다는 거예요. 

The problem with England is they do have a lot of possession. So they like to keep the ball. 

 

수비수는 골키퍼에서 다시 패스하고 앞으로 나가지를 않는게 문제예요. 

The defender kicks it back to goalkeeper and it doesn't move forward. They never move the ball forwards. 

 

경기 결과에 대한 짜증을 표현해볼까?

It was infuriating. It made me so angry.  정말 짜증났어요. 엄청 화나더라구요. 

 

다른 팀은 유효슈팅이 많을 때, 

There are  more shots on goal. 유효 슈팅이 더 많이 나와요.
